Taeyang, a member of the Korean boy group BIGBANG made his solo comeback by releasing a new album titled 'Down To Earth'. The album was released on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 with 'Seed' as the lead single. Through this song, Taeyang invites his listeners to listen to a sad ballad type song that is presented like a story telling.

Another song in Taeyang's new album that has attracted the most attention is his collaborative single with a member of the famous girl group, BLACKPINK, namely Lisa. Music titled 'Shoong!' it has catchy lyrics and unique choreography. So far, it's been five days since the music video for Shoong! released, they have amassed over 30 million viewers.

According to  KBIZoom, to promote Shoong!, Taeyang created a ' Shoong Challenge ' on all SNS sites so that fans can easily show how they dance to the song. The 1988-born idol has also invited many famous K-Pop singers to join in on the challenge with him. Two Seventeen members, Jeonghan and Seungkwan became the first idols to take part in the Shoong Challenge with Taeyang.

After that followed the appearance of idols from other groups who also enlivened this challenge made by Taeyang BIGBANG. Starting from the girl group members TWICE to TXT. Then Jay Park, who is known for his sexy dancing style, became the first person to collaborate with Taeyang in the Shoong Challenge and impressed everyone with his performance with senior singer Taeyang.

Not only helping Taeyang's new song go viral, the Shoong Challenge also proves the prowess of the idols who took on the challenge. For example, TWICE members are said to have good adaptability because they can appear to dance in very different styles but are still very impressive.

Welcoming a new beginning this May,  Taeyang BIGBANG's dance practice  video with Lisa BLACKCPINK was uploaded on the idol's personal YouTube channel.
