Being the second member of BTS to depart for military service, J-Hope not only followed in Kim Seokjin's footsteps in doing so but also in his promotion to become an Assistant Instructor in the military. Quoting Soompi on Wednesday May 31, 2023, according to a military official on May 31, J-Hope was reportedly selected as an assistant instructor for the 36th Infantry Division recruit training center.
The source said that, "J-Hope will become an assistant instructor after passing the educational qualification evaluation period." On May 24, 2023, BTS' J-Hope successfully completed the basic military education trainer course. The latest news reporting that this 1994-born idol has also managed to reach a similar position to Jin BTS certainly makes Army (BTS fans) even more proud of him.
Departing the army on April 18,2023, BTS' J-Hope was reportedly positioned as an assistant instructor until his discharge on October 17, 2024.
