BLACKPINK's Jisoo has again become a trending topic in cyberspace after the 28-year-old singer has just received news that she is not wearing anything. After completing the BLACKPINK encore concert in Thailand on May 28, 2023, Jisoo through YG Entertainment tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday June 1, 2023. 

YG Entertainment informed fans of Jisoo's condition via Weverse, which immediately made BLINKs concerned and worried about their favorite  idol. "Hello. This is YG Entertainment. We would like to inform you that BLACKPINK member Jisoo was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on June 1, 2023. 

Jisoo took an independent test on May 30 after experiencing mild cold symptoms," wrote YG Entertainment in their latest statement on Weverse. Previously, Jisoo's test reacted negatively but on June 1, 2023, Jisoo received a different test result which showed he tested positive for Covid-19. 

"At first, he initially tested negative but eventually tested positive on June 1," the agency added. With the emergence of this news, the singer of the song "Flower" was forced to take a break from personal and group activities with other BLACKPINK members even though Jisoo was said to have prepared his best performance to show BLINKs.

"Jisoo is determined to appear, wants to keep his promise with BLACKPINK fans who have been waiting for a long time, but decided not to participate in the concert for the health of the artist and the safety of all," continued YG Ent. on the announcement.

Along with the arrival of this bad news from BLACKPINK's Jisoo, which is known to be holding the next encore  concert in Japan, is forced to perform with the three remaining members from June 3 to 4. "Therefore, only three members, JENNIE, LISA, and ROSE, will participate in the [ BORN PINK ] World Tour concert held in Osaka, Japan on June 3 and 4," YG Entertainment wrote again.

Closing the announcement, YG Entertainment apologized and asked for understanding from fans who had been waiting for the best performance from BLACKPINK after a long time. The agency also promised to make maximum effort for Jisoo's recovery so that he can recover and return to performing in various activities of the upcoming BLACKPINK group. 

"We understand the anticipation and how much fans have been waiting for the performance and will (still) do our best to present the concert as planned. We respectfully ask for your strong support. We will do our best for JISOO's speedy recovery and the health and safety of our artists. . We apologize and ask for your understanding once again," concluded YG Entertainment ending the announcement.
