T.O.P recently uploaded a short video on his personal Instagram account, and shared updates on his latest activities with fans. In the post, the idol is seen working on music at his house and left a small message on the photo he uploaded by writing the caption, " Working on my album ."
Many fans are also excited by the news that T.O.P is preparing new music after he left YG Entertainment. However, there is one thing that has not been clear among fans whether T.O.P is still with BIGBANG or not. Quoting from Allkpop on Thursday June 1, 2023, a fan left a comment and asked whether T.O.P was still with his group or not.
Answering the fan's comments, T.O.P said that he had left BIGBANG since last year. " I've left BIGBANG. I've told you that I've left the group, and now I'm facing a new chapter in my life since last year ," T.O.P wrote in his comment. T.O.P then clarified further that his comeback this time was for a project as a solo artist.
He also posted in his Insta Story upload that he had officially left BIGBANG. T.O.P also crossed BIGBANG's name in the post. This of course surprised the fans. The reason is not too many articles that report that T.O.P has officially left BIGBANG since last year.
