Woollim Entertainment made a surprising statement if one of the DRIPPIN member, namely, Alex decided to terminate his contract. That way, Drippin will continue its activities with the formation of 6 people in the future. The agency did not explain the reasons for Alex's departure from DRIPPIN.

DRIPPIN will continue its activities as a 6-member system," they continued. Meanwhile, DRIPPIN's Alex has been announced on hiatus since January 2023 due to health issues. “Recently, DRIPPIN's Alex has been showing symptoms of poor physical condition.
The agency has discussed with Alex and his parents, and has reached an agreement that it is best for him to take a break to focus on recovering his health, leading to the conclusion that Alex will be halting his activities for the time being,” Woollim Entertainment wrote on January 26, 2023.
DRIPPIN itself is a boy group from South Korea consisting of 7 members who on average before debut had participated in the survival show Mnet 'Produce X 101', namely Hyeop, Yunseong, Changuk, Dongyun, Minseo, Junho and Alex. This group has debuted since October 28, 2020 with the mini album 'Boyager'.
Some of their members were known before debut for their talent and visuals. Alex himself is a member who is known to be fluent in English. He is a Korean German national who was born on October 6, 2004. He is the youngest member in the group and is a vocalist. He is the only DRIPPIN member who was not sent to the 'Produce X 101' program which aired in 2019.
