EXO's D.O will soon be greeting fans with the latest music and album in the near future. D.O will return as a solo singer through his second comeback mini album entitled ' Expectation ' which will be released on September 18 2023. Welcoming the release of the new album, the teaser schedule for the second mini album 'Expectation' has been shared on a number of social media accounts.
Quoting from EXO's official Twitter account on Monday September 4, 2023, D.O will start promotions for their second mini album on September 8, 2023 by releasing the music video for the b-side track 'I Do'. Next, teaser image #1 will be shared on September 11, 2023; followed by teaser image #2 on September 12, 2023; and the 3rd teaser image on September 13, 2023.
'Expectation' album details will be shared on September 13, 2023; teaser image highlight medley to be released on September 14, 2023; the highlight medley will be distributed on September 15, 2023. The teaser image for the title song ' Somebody ' will be released on September 16, 2023; The teaser image for the 'Somebody' music video will be shared on September 16 2023.
Release of the title song 'Somebody' music video teaser on September 17, 2023; and finally the release of the music video and album on September 18, 2023. On September 20, 2023, the live performance or live clip will be released. Meanwhile, EXO's D.O second mini album entitled 'Expectation' will contain 7 songs in it. These include the main song 'Somebody' and the pre-release song 'I Do'.
As well as 4 b-side tracks which include 'Wonder', 'Lost', 'Ordinary Days', and The View', as well as the acoustic version of 'Lost'. Along with the distribution of the teaser schedule, the poster displayed shows a warm and mysterious image. Where DO's profile which is used as the background for the teaser schedule poster is displayed without showing the idol's face.
A number of photos such as bookshelves, piles of notes, and candid photos of EXO's D.O which are displayed in blur also decorate the teaser schedule poster for the comeback of the 2nd mini album 'Expectation' this time. Fans can't wait for EXO's D.O to return as a solo singer. This is because the idol who was born in 1993 has recently become more active as an actor. Apart from making a group comeback last July.
