BLACKPINK's Jennie, has again made BLINK raise their enthusiasm with the news of a special single that will be released soon. Quoting from Koreaboo on Wednesday October 4, 2023, YG Entertainment as the agency that oversees BLACKPINK recently released the main poster online, showing Jennie in a charming red dress.
On the poster, Jennie is seen in her pose, closing her eyes with a photo in the background showing a full moon. At the top, the title of the single "You & Me" is written, the color of which matches the red dress Jennie is wearing. The idol's name was also written next to it.
This single will be released on October 6, 2023 at 1 pm KST. BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans) are very enthusiastic about welcoming the news of the solo comeback of one of the group members consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa. The reason is, this is Jennie's first comeback after releasing her own song entitled "Solo" about five years ago.
YG stated, “We have decided to officially release it for the fans who accompanied us on the [BORN PINK] world tour. We hope this will be a special gift that will bring us back to those days.” The song "You & Me" is often sung by Jennie during the solo stage session of the "Born Pink World Tour" concert.
When other BLACKPINK members performed covers of other singers' songs, Jennie performed her own songs, alternating with her other song "Solo". Many fans liked the song sung by Jennie so YG Entertainment decided to release it officially. Even so, it is still uncertain whether "You & Me" which will be released this time is the same as the song previously sung by Jennie.
