EXO's Sehun Earns Sales of 1.4 million US dollars, Becoming the Cover of China's SPOTLiGHT Magazine

One of the members of the South Korean boy group EXO, namely, Sehun has succeeded in stealing the attention of fans in China, especially with his charming latest appearance. Recently the idol graced the cover of SPOTLiGHT China magazine for the September edition.  

Quoting from Allkpop on Wednesday September 20, 2023, dressed in an outfit from the luxury brand Dior's Winter 2023 Collection and Valentino's Look 30 of the Fall Ready to Wear Collection, Sehun appeared elegant in various poses. In two different magazine cover versions, Sehun successfully shows his star aura and also his sales strength in China. 

Within an hour of the magazine's release, 144,000 copies had been sold, setting an impressive sales record for Korean artist fandom in China. It didn't stop there, within 24 hours, 163,000 copies had been sold out. This made Sehun record the highest daily magazine sales for a Korean artist in China. 

Sehun has successfully established his name as one of the Korean artists who has a strong fan base in China. Now he holds the record as the Korean artist with the highest magazine sales per volume in China. To date, SPOTLiGHT magazine with Sehun's cover has sold more than 209,000 copies, and made a profit of up to 10,141,390 Yuan (approximately 1.4 million US dollars).

Sehun was also listed as the only foreign celebrity to occupy the Top 8 position on the Top 10 magazine sales list in China. This is an extraordinary achievement considering that, apart from Sehun, the list of Top 10 artists with the highest magazine sales is dominated by celebrities from China. Since his debut with EXO in 2012, Sehun has proven his extraordinary popularity among fans in China. 

Through a fan association called Oh Sehun Bar. Through Oh Sehun Bar, fans in China often create birthday projects for Sehun at a cost that is no joke. Like placing an advertisement on an airline, buying land in Sehun's name abroad and many other cool projects.  It's not surprising that Sehun has been successful in selling magazines featuring his cover with an impressive record.
