NCT's new team or what is now called NCT NEW TEAM will soon greet fans with pre-debut music and performances. NCT's last sub unit will soon release 2 pre-debut singles entitled ' Hands Up ' and ' We Go !' on October 8, 2023, at 00.00 KST.
Quoting from the Instagram account @nctzenarea on Saturday October 7, 2023, the main song 'Hands Up' is an energetic dance song that harmonizes intense synth sounds, as well as strong brass lines, and cheerful rhythmic instruments, as well as strong vocals.
This song describes the spirit of NCT NEW TEAM, with the inspiration of raising your hands up and flying together to achieve your dreams. The second song is entitled 'We Go!' is a pop genre song with live guitar reprises and vocals that add freshness.
The lyrics of the song honestly express the heart of this moment, to stand on the starting line, and start the journey to the stage of dreams. Apart from releasing 2 pre-debut songs, NCT NEW TEAM will also hold a pre-debut tour in 9 major cities in Japan, with a total of 24 shows.
This pre-debut tour will kick off on October 8-9, 2023, at Tokyo Line Cube Sibuya. Meanwhile, NCT NEW TEAM which consists of 6 selected members including Sion and Yushi from SM Rookies, followed by Riku, Daeyoung, Sakuya, and Ryo from the audition program ' NCT Universe : LASTART ' is expected to officially debut in 2024.
