Actor Ji Chang Wook has been tapped again to star in a new Korean drama. Reporting from KBIZoom on Tuesday January 9, 2024, Ji Chang Wook recently received a casting offer to appear in the new drama entitled " The Mantis " as the male lead.
“The Mantis is a thriller genre drama about a woman who was imprisoned as a serial killer in the past and the new events that occur when someone copies her methods and starts a series of murders. The drama "The Mantis" is attracting attention because it is a remake of the original French drama with the same title which was released on Netflix in December 2017.
Previously, actress Go Hyun Jung was also reported to be participating in the Korean remake of "The Mantis" as the female lead. The drama will be co-produced by Merry Christmas and MegaMonster. The plan is that production will start this year.
Ji Chang Wook is one of the top class actors who is considered because of his broad acting spectrum. He often receives positive reviews for his performance in the Korean dramas he stars in. Currently, Ji Chang Wook appears on the small screen through the drama "Welcome to Samdalri".
