According to Star News on July 26, 2024, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo will appear in the new drama 'The Wonder Fools' (working title). 'The Wonder Fools', originally known as 'The B Team', tells the story of “flawed superhumans” whose supernatural abilities manifest against their will.
Although various discussions took place during the planning stages, including adapting the original work, 'The Wonder Fools' would ultimately be developed and produced as an original story. In the drama, Cha Eun Woo will play Lee Woon Jung, a mysterious parachute officer with many secrets and few social skills.
He is a lonely character who rarely lets anyone get close to him, but through his encounter with Eun Chae Ni (Park Eun Bin), he learns the meaning of “we.” The drama will be directed by Yoo In Sik, who is known for SBS's 'Dr. Romantic' and 'Vagabond', and ENA's 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo'.
The script will be written by Huh Da Joong who adapted the film 'Extreme Job'. Writer Kang Eun Kyung, who worked with director Yoo In Sik, will participate as a creator. Produced by Romantic Crew, Kakao Entertainment and Fantagio, 'The Wonder Fools' will complete casting and begin filming in the second half of this year. The release platform has not been determined.
