The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice star also gave a hint that in Wednesday season 2, the story will leave behind the love triangle drama that was in the first season.
Instead, the series will take viewers in a more horror direction. Ortega describes a more sinister atmosphere, taking inspiration from the classic film The Masque of the Red Death (1964). Steve Buscemi, Thandiwe Newton, Billie Piper, and Christopher Lloyd have all been confirmed to join the series.
