Kim Bo Ra recently talked about her new Korean drama titled ' Black Out ', which will premiere soon. Carrying the crime thriller genre, 'Black Out' tells the story of Go Jung Woo (Byun Yo Han), a young man who is made a murder suspect after two of his classmates are mysteriously killed.

11 years later, he begins a journey to uncover the truth of that day. In this drama, Kim Bo Ra plays Ha Seol, a newcomer to Mucheon City, Go Jung Woo's hometown. Ha Seol is intrigued when she finds out that one of her co-workers at the restaurant where she works part-time has a son who is a convicted murderer.

Driven by curiosity, she begins to investigate a murder from 11 years ago. As an outsider, her objective point of view ultimately helps Go Jung Woo in searching for the truth. Kim Bo Ra is known to be a big fan of crime investigation dramas.

That's what prompted her to join this drama. "Because I often watch shows related to criminal investigations, I immediately felt connected to the project when I received the offer," said Kim Bo Ra as quoted by Soompi on August 14, 2024.

She added, “Ha Seol lives in Mucheon City but is also the only outsider. I was attracted to her character, who views incidents more objectively and is naturally curious about them. According to Kim Bo Ra, while living in a remote village, Ha Seol's habit of investigating things whenever she felt suspicious made her think of the character as a meddler.

"Her warm personality, treating everyone in the village kindly without prejudice, and his willingness to help people he didn't even know left a very warm impression on me," she added. Ha Seol's character is free-spirited and easygoing.

Therefore, Kim Bo Ra admitted that she did not study the background or situations of other characters in the drama in depth because she felt it was important to interact with other characters without any prejudice. Kim Bo Ra will once again show her solid acting skills through 'Black Out'.

Previously, Kim Bo Ra captivated the audience through her roles in 'Sky Castle', 'Her Private Life', 'Like Flower in Sand', and many more. Meanwhile, the Korean drama 'Black Out' will premiere on August 16, 2024, every Friday and Saturday at 21:50 KST.
