Lee Jong Suk has finally confirmed that he will star in the latest Korean drama directed by Park Seung Woo, who previously worked with him on the hit Korean drama W. Quoting from Soompi on Tuesday November 5, 2024, Lee Jong Suk's agency, ACE Factory, confirmed that the actor will star in the latest tvN drama entitled Seochodong.

Seochodong is a passionate story about lawyers working in Seocho Court City. Written by practicing lawyer Lee Seung Hyun. This drama will capture the realistic stories and growth of lawyers as they handle cases that can occur in everyday life.

In this drama, Lee Jong Suk will play lawyer Ahn Joo Hyung, who has been practicing for nine years and is known for his fact-based logic. Ahn Joo Hyung became a lawyer because he liked logic and cases, so at first he didn't think of being a lawyer as a profession that protects the weak and serves justice to change the world.

Having worked at the same firm for nine years, he is also a veteran in his field. Despite having achieved a new record for an associate lawyer's salary, he has no desire to establish his own law firm. However, cracks begin to appear in Ahn Joo Hyung's comfortable and stable work life.

Apart from Lee Jong Suk, actress Moon Ga Young is also in talks to star in this Korean drama as a second-year lawyer named Kang Hee Ji. Kang Hee Ji's character is described as confident and honest, who believes that changing one's life will change that person's entire world.

Meanwhile, director Park Seung Woo, apart from producing the drama W, has also worked on hit Korean dramas such as Kairos and Adamas. Seochodong is Lee Jong Suk's comeback drama after winning the Daesang at the 2022 MBC Awards thanks to his stunning role in the Big Mouth series. Meanwhile, Seochodong is scheduled to air in the first half of 2025 via tvN.
