SEVENTEEN recently released a video of Vernon and friends preparing for their performance at the 2024 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards). In the video, the members looked amazed to see Moon Sang Min's height .
At MAMA 2024, Sang Min was present as the winner nominee reader. The actor born in 2000 also took the time to visit SEVENTEEN's waiting room and amazed the members because his height was taller than Mingyu. "I knew you were tall. But, I didn't expect you to be this tall," Woozi said .
"Wow, Mingyu hyung looks short!" Seungkwan replied . Mingyu then asked about Sang Min's height, which clearly surpassed his. "Of course, you're 190 cm tall, right?" Mingyu asked. "Yes, 190 cm," Sang Min answered. If you look at the search site, Mingyu's height is recorded at around 187 cm.
The difference between the two stars should only be around 3 cm. However, Mingyu is clearly taller than Sang Min. After discussing height, Sang Min asked permission to say goodbye to the SEVENTEEN members. "Senior, thank you for your hard work," the actor said goodbye.
One of the members was heard saying, "See you later, we'll be on stage." Mingyu was then seen accompanying Sang Min out of SEVENTEEN's waiting room. Mingyu was also heard giving advice to his junior who was nervous about reading the winning nominations. "Do well. Don't be nervous, Sang Min," said Mingyu.
The moment when SEVENTEEN members were shocked because Sang Min's height was higher than Mingyu's became a topic of conversation among netizens. " Sangmin is really tall [sic!]," wrote one netizen. " Vernon's expression is really shocked [sic!]," added another.
" Such a sweet interaction! It's adorable how they're in awe of Sangmin's height, especially with comments like "even Mingyu looks small [sic!]," another netizen said. " Even though it's only 3 cm difference [sic!]," another added.
On the other hand, SEVENTEEN won 4 awards at once at MAMA 2024 starting from Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Male Group to Visa Super Stage. The members were so proud and seemed to take turns taking pictures with the four trophies.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN successfully earned three separate certifications for their latest mini album "SPILL THE FEELS" from Circle Chart. The regular version of the album received a triple million certification for selling over 3 million copies, while the KiT and Weverse versions were certified platinum after selling 250,000 copies each.
