Lee Jung Jae and Wi Ha Joon respond to rumors that BTS's V will appear in Squid Game season 3. The rumor has actually been circulating on social media for a long time, even before the release of Squid Game 2. Ahead of the third season, the rumor is back.
A photo of BTS's V wearing a Pink Guard costume at the Permission to Dance concert has gone viral again. Lee Jung Jae and Wi Ha Joon were asked about the rumors in an interview with BuzzFeed UK released on Friday January 3, 2025.
"There is speculation that BTS's V might join the cast, what is your response to this?" the interviewer asked. Wi Ha Joon looked shocked to hear the question. The actor, born on August 5, 1991, chose not to comment.
" No comment ," said Wi Ha Joon. Lee Jung Jae was also reluctant to provide an answer regarding the issue. "I can't say anything about that," Lee Jung Jae said. Meanwhile, Squid Game season 2 has been airing since December 26, 2024 on Netflix.
The end of the second season of Squid Game was left hanging which made the audience curious. At the end of the episode, the production team gave a hint that the Squid Game story will continue in the third season which will air in 2025. However, they have not revealed the exact date.
