South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer, WOODZ was suddenly rumored to have dated the late actress Kim Sae Ron around 2021 and 2022. The rumor follows the controversy between Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun.
In a press conference, Kim Soo Hyun claimed Kim Sae Ron was dating someone else when the drunk driving (DUI) incident occurred. In addition, YouTuber Lee Jin Hoo also said that the DUI occurred because Kim Sae Ron was heartbroken due to the end of her relationship with WOODZ.
The YouTuber also admitted to selecting various evidence related to their relationship, including Kim Sae Ron's likes on WOODZ's uploads, the coffee truck he sent to the filming location, and photos together. Local media then asked WOODS' agency, EDAM Entertainment, for information about the rumors.
However, the agency felt that the artist's personal life was beyond their scope to provide confirmation. "Because this is his (WOODZ's) personal life, we cannot verify the reports," said EDAM Entertainment, as reported by Xportsnews.
WOODZ, whose full name is Cho Seung Youn, is a singer and actor from South Korea. He was born on August 5, 1996. He debuted as a member of the South Korean-Chinese music group UNIQ in 2014. Then in July 2019, Cho Seung-youn managed to rank 5th in the survival show Produce X 101.
