The Korean drama Resident Playbook, which is a spin-off of Hospital Playlist, has been long awaited. Originally scheduled to air in May 2024, Resident Playbook was delayed to avoid controversy amid the resident doctors' strike in South Korea at the time.
The medical drama is now confirmed to air on April 12, 2025. The Korean drama Resident Playbook, directed by Lee Min Soo and written by Kim Song Hee, will highlight the lives of resident doctors at Jongro Yulje Hospital, a branch of Yulje Hospital which is the setting for Hospital Playlist.
A number of young stars star in Resident Playbook , including Go Youn Jung, Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, Jung Joon Won, and Han Ye Yi. The drama Resident Playbook follows the story of four resident doctors who are friends. They live their days full of twists and turns in the hospital.
