ENHYPEN has once again shown its popularity ahead of their comeback with their sixth mini album, 'DESIRE: UNLEASH'. According to the agency BELIFT LAB on June 4, 2025, pre-orders for the album have exceeded 2.18 million copies.
This achievement makes ENHYPEN achieve double million-seller status for the third time, following the success of their fifth mini album 'ORANGE BLOOD' and second full album 'ROMANCE : UNTOLD'.
The mini album 'DESIRE : UNLEASH' carries a deeper theme of love, depicting an irresistible desire in a dangerous yet alluring dark romance nuance. Different from the ROMANCE series which highlights pure love, this album explores more intense and complex emotions.
The title track, 'Bad Desire (With or Without You)', is a dance-pop piece with an elegant feel that describes the desire to "turn you into a vampire". The song was produced by Cirkut, who previously produced ENHYPEN hits such as 'Bite Me' and 'Brought The Heat Back'.
Through album previews and music video teasers, fans have been treated to addictive rhythms and captivating melodies, enhanced by ENHYPEN's emotional vocals and sexy urban aura. The choreography seen in the performance challenge video also managed to steal the attention of global K-pop fans with its precise yet energetic movements.
Last year, ENHYPEN recorded album sales of over 5.45 million copies and ranked highest among K-pop artists on the 2024 Global Album Sales Chart and the 2024 Global Album Chart by IFPI. The mini album 'DESIRE : UNLEASH' will be officially released on June 5, 2025 at 13:00 KST.
