8TURN's Yoonsung will be reducing group activities for their latest album, Electric Heart. The group's agency, MNH Entertainment, announced the news to fans. They explained that Yoonsung was experiencing back pain and had undergone a medical examination.
The medical team advised Yoonsung to avoid activities that require excessive movement. This incident took place a few days before promoting Electric Heart at a number of music events.
"Recently, Yoonsung experienced back pain and underwent a medical examination. Based on the specialist's advice, he should avoid strenuous activities," MNH Entertainment said on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
“However, due to Yoonsung’s strong desire to participate in album promotions, we plan to proceed with the schedule and stages while minimizing movement to avoid injury to his back,” agency explained.
“Activities for Electric Heart, which will be released on August 21, 2025, will be held according to Yoonsung’s condition . We ask for fans’ understanding,” the agency said. The agency apologized to fans who were looking forward to the group's full promotions.
"We sincerely apologize for causing concern to fans who have been looking forward to these promotions. We will ensure Yoonsung receives proper care and protection so he can recover and greet fans in good health," agency said.
