Kim Jong Kook surprised everyone by announcing his marriage. In a letter he wrote and a statement from his agency, the singer and comedian expressed his joy. The wedding will be held privately and attended by family and closest friends at a location in Seoul.
"This is even more meaningful considering it's a significant year for his 30th debut anniversary. It would be great if many people sent him support and congratulations," Kim Jong Kook's agency, TURBO.JK COMPANY, said in a statement.
Kim Jong Kook in his letter, thanked fans who supported him for a long time. “Even though I knew I would write it and prepared for it, I felt more nervous than I ever imagined I would be writing this,” Kim Jong Kook wrote.
"I'm getting married. Honestly, I tried to give a little hint, but I'm sure a lot of fans thought it was a surprise," he continued. The panelist from the Running Man show revealed that to celebrate his 30th debut anniversary, he will actually get married.
“It’s my 30th debut anniversary, and instead of making the album I wanted, I announced my partner… but still, please congratulate me and support me,” he said. "It's very late, but I'm very relieved that I made it this way, right? I'll work hard to live well," said Kim Jong Kook.
