ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo is back in the spotlight despite his mandatory military service. His unmatched visuals continue to steal attention when he was spotted wearing a military uniform in Gyeongju. On October 30, 2025, photos and videos of Cha Eun Woo wearing a military uniform circulated online.
He was reportedly in Gyeongju to support the 2025 Gyeongju Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit. As a member of the Ministry of National Defense's Work Support Unit, Cha Eun Woo appeared in full uniform and a hat that concealed his features.
Despite this, his statuesque face and ideal body proportions stood out, making him instantly recognizable on the set. Cha Eun Woo began his mandatory military service on July 28th, enlisting at the Army Training Center in Nonsan, Chungnam.
After completing basic military training, he is currently serving in the Ministry of National Defense's Work Support Unit. In the midst of his military service, his latest film, 'First Ride', was just released on October 29, 2025 and immediately became a box office success.
