NCT's Doyoung has once again shown his generous side by donating 100 million won to improve the educational environment for children in Uganda. This action was taken ahead of his military enlistment on December 8, 2025.
According to an official statement from the international NGO World Vision on October 31, 2025, the donation was intended to support children's dreams through a school construction project in Bugondo village, Mayuge district, Uganda.
"Doyoung donated 100 million won to improve the educational environment for children," World Vision said. Doyoung decided to do this as a way to repay fans for their love during his second tour.
The tour kicked off with a concert in Seoul last June and continued to Japan, Singapore, Macau, Thailand, and Taiwan. The highlight was the encore concert titled 2025 DOYOUNG ENCORE CONCERT [Yours] which was held on October 9-11, 2025.
"I want to return the love from global fans to the world," said Doyoung. This donation will be used entirely to build safer and more comfortable school facilities. This project is expected to help approximately 1,000 children who have struggled to learn due to poor learning conditions.
This new school is expected to be a starting point for them to pursue their dreams. Doyoung conveyed a warm message, "I'm grateful to be able to repay a little of the fans' love after completing the second tour. I hope this school will be a starting point for children to develop their dreams."
World Vision President Cho Myung Hwan expressed his appreciation, saying, "We are very grateful for Doyoung's sincere heart for the children. We will do our best to ensure that the children in Bugondo village can learn in a better environment and realize their dreams.
