GOT7's Youngjae is the latest member of the group to enlist in the military. His agency, AndBut Company, announced that he will enlist on November 27, 2025. “Youngjae will be enlisting for his mandatory military service as a public service worker starting November 27,” the agency said on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
“To fulfill the task calmly and sincerely, there is no send-off event or other official event,” he said. The agency also expressed its gratitude for fans who were able to send support to Youngjae as he carried out his duties.
"We would like to express our gratitude to fans for your love and support, and we ask that you continue to send support to Youngjae during this period of support," the agency concluded. Youngjae was active as a member of GOT7 before changing agencies and focusing on his solo career.
He actively released albums and even held several concerts in Asia. This year, he and GOT7 held the NESFEST concert in Thailand which marked their reunion and was sold out. In addition, he also acted in the drama Friendly Rivalry with Hyeri and Kang Hye Won.
