ZEROBASEONE's Sung Han Bin and BOYNEXTDOOR's Jaehyun will step down from their positions as hosts of the music show M Countdown in South Korea. On Tuesday, September 2,2025, a representative from M Countdown confirmed that the two would be leaving the show this week.
Their final episode will air on September 4, 2025. “Jaehyun and Sung Han Bin will step down as MCs after the September 4, 2025 broadcast,” said M Countdown. “For the time being, the event will continue with a special MC,” said M Countdown.
Sung Han Bin has been hosting the music show M Countdown since September 2023, just a few months after his debut with his group in July 2025. Jaehyun then joined RIIZE's Sohee in January 2024.
The three created a sweet chemistry and received praise from viewers before Sohee's departure last February 2025. Sung Han Bin and his group, ZEROBASEONE, just released their first studio album, Never Say Never on Monday, September 1, 2025.
They are also busy promoting their album in addition to discussing extending the group's contract with their respective agencies. Jaehyun along with BOYNEXTDOOR also went on their first Asia tour and will promote the group in various events in Asia.
