NCT's Jungwoo is giving fans one last gift before officially enlisting in the military. He will release his first solo single, "SUGAR," on November 28, 2025 at 6:00 PM (KST) through various digital music platforms.
This marks Jungwoo's first solo work since his debut with NCT in 2018. The song 'SUGAR' is a groovy pop track that combines swing-style drums, a clever bass line, and a soft yet catchy melody.
Starting with a minimalist arrangement, the song gradually increases in intensity, building deep emotions and a warm atmosphere. Through his lyrics, Jungwoo expresses his gratitude for the time he has spent with fans so far, as well as the hope that the waiting period ahead will still feel sweet.
On the same day as the song's release, Jungwoo will also hold his first solo fan meeting, "Golden Sugar Time," at Ticketlink Live Arena (Gymnastics Arena). This event will be Jungwoo's last opportunity to meet fans in person before enlisting in the military.
After completing all solo schedules, Jungwoo is scheduled to enlist in the military on December 8, 2025. He will undergo basic military training, then continue active duty as a member of the South Korean Army military band.
