Baekho, a former member of K-pop group NU’EST, is set to begin his mandatory military service later this month. Baekho’s agency announced on official social media on December 8, 2025 that the artist will enter the Army Training Center on December 29, 2025.
He will receive basic military training there before serving as an active-duty soldier in the Army. The agency requested fans’ cooperation, stating, “There will be no separate official event on the day of his enlistment.”
They added, “We kindly ask you to refrain from visiting the site, as the training center entrance ceremony is a place attended by numerous soldiers and their families.” They concluded by asking for support:
“We ask for your warm encouragement and continued love until Baekho fulfills his national defense duty and returns healthy.” Baekho debuted in 2012 as a member of NU’EST, known for hit songs such as “Hello,” “Overcome,” and “FACE.”
He gained further recognition in 2017 by appearing on Mnet’s survival show Produce 101 Season 2 and promoting with the unit NU’EST W. Following the group’s disbandment, he successfully launched a solo career with tracks like “Elevator” and “LOVE OR DIE.”
