The members of F4 often receive praise for their youthful appearance. However, Vanness Wu's latest appearance has surprised netizens because it's not his usual look. In the shared photo, the "Mei Zuo" actor is almost unrecognizable, appearing much thinner than before.
Earlier this week, Taiwanese singer and actor Vanness Wu's mirror selfies suddenly became a hot topic on Weibo. One post claimed that "Vanness Wu has lost 20 kilograms." In the post, the 47-year-old is seen with sunken cheeks and a thinner physique.
It's no wonder fans are worried about his health. In the comments section, some people wondered if the Asia's Got Talent judge was experiencing any issues. Others speculated that he was losing weight for the upcoming F4 reunion concert with Jerry Yan and Vic Chou.
"He looks like a skeleton, a bit scary," "When someone is too skinny, they immediately look older," netizens wrote. Vanness immediately responded to the conversation. In his latest post, he uploaded a video showing him shaking his head sideways while revealing his natural face from various angles.
"Am I really that skinny?!" he asked, laughing. "Selfie skills are very important, and I'm definitely not good at them," she wrote, adding a laughing-crying emoji. It doesn't appear that Vanness has actually lost much weight.
The photo may simply be due to poor lighting or angle. "Very handsome, but please stop taking selfies at extreme angles," one netizen joked. Following their surprise reunion at the Mayday concert in November, the members of F4 evoked nostalgic memories for fans.
They also announced their F☆FOREVER City of Stars World Tour, scheduled to kick off in Shanghai from December 19 to 22, 2025. The highly anticipated reunion, unfortunately, featured only three members, minus Ken Chu.
