Baekho, a former NUEST member who is now active as a soloist, has finally announced his military service schedule. The idol, born in 1995, will officially enter active military service on December 29, 2025.

He announced the news directly on December 8, 2025 while communicating with fans, confirming that he would be taking a temporary hiatus from the entertainment world to carry out his obligations as a South Korean citizen.

This announcement also answers public speculation that had been growing about when Baekho would undergo military service. Considering he has entered his 30th birthday, the maximum age limit for Korean men to register, many are waiting for an official statement regarding his status.

With this confirmation, Baekho affirms that he will fulfill his obligations according to the law without further delay. Baekho started his career in 2012 with NU'EST and gained popularity through various popular songs such as "FACE", "Not Over You", "Hello", and "Sleep Talking".

In 2017, he participated in the second season of Produce 101, which further expanded his public recognition. After that, he continued his activities with NUEST W and consistently developed his solo career.

Baekho's career journey reached a new chapter last March when he left Pledis Entertainment after 13 years. He then signed with the Prism Filter label, marking the beginning of a new phase in his musical journey.

Since then, Baekho has been actively releasing new music, performing at various events, and expanding his artistic reach as a solo musician. With the certainty of his military service schedule, Baekho will be taking a break from the entertainment industry for a while.

However, fans gave him their full support and hoped that he would undergo his military service healthily and safely. Many are looking forward to Baekho's return after completing his duties, as well as waiting for the latest works that he will present in the future.
