South Korean singer and actor Lee Seung Gi has chosen to terminate his contract with his agency, Big Planet Made. He joins the growing list of artists who have filed for contract termination with the agency.

On Monday, April 6, 2026, Lee Seung Gi's representative confirmed that the contract termination had been proposed since the end of March 2026. One of the reasons cited was the unpaid staff salaries, despite the staff continuing to work. In addition to staff salaries, Lee Seung Gi also had some outstanding wages unpaid.

To avoid similar issues in the future, he chose to terminate his contract. "We are trying to maintain trust despite various issues within the agency and some issues regarding unpaid bills, but problems continue to arise in entertainment activities and paying staff and outside parties," Lee Seung Gi's side quoted Chosun as saying .

“We chose to terminate the contract to avoid a situation where the staff who worked did not receive payment,” he explained. On the same day, Big Planet Made did not confirm the disconnection, but they explained they were working to address the ongoing issue.

"We are doing our best to get the business back up and running as quickly as possible and we are continuing to consult with them to resolve the issues," said the agency, Big Planet Made.

Big Planet Made is one of the labels under One Hundred. Prior to Lee Seung Gi , several artists, including Taemin, THE BOYZ, BO, Lee Mu Jin, and VIVIZ, also filed for contract termination with the agency.

The agency responded to the news by saying, “We are doing our best to ensure the artist's activities continue normally.” On the other hand, Lee Seung Gi is expecting his second child with actress Lee Da In.
