Seungkwan, has reportedly received an offer to appear in a new Korean drama. One of SEVENTEEN's vocalists is said to be starring in the drama Wed Thurs Fri and even attended the first script reading session with the other cast members.
PLEDIS Entertainment, his agency, responded, "Seungkwan is in talks to join the drama Wed Thurs Fri. We are currently coordinating the schedule in detail." Wed Thurs Fri is a romantic drama about a restaurant that only operates on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The story focuses on the male and female chefs associated with the restaurant. Actors Shin Min Ah and Lee Jin Wook have been offered the male and female leads, respectively.
Actor Yoo Teo has also been offered the role, but none of the three have responded to the news. If Shin Min Ah accepts this offer, then the drama Wed Thurs Fri will be her latest project after marrying actor Kim Woo Bin.
The drama is directed by Jung Dong Yoon, who directed Stove League, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, and Gyeongseong Creature. The script was also written by Joo Hyun, the man behind The World of the Married.
Meanwhile, Seungkwan has been focusing on SEVENTEEN, its subunits, and variety shows. In late 2025, he and DK formed the subunit DxS and released the mini-album Serenade. Earlier this month, SEVENTEEN also announced the renewal of exclusive contracts with all of its members.
