Jennie is ready to pamper your ears with her latest release this month. The BLACKPINK member already has a single titled "Less Than A Lover" which will be released on streaming platforms. This single is truly special.
The music was composed by Jennie herself, and the music video was also written and directed by the ZEN singer. In the released teaser, Jennie is seen with a man, a figure she calls "less than a lover" for some reason.
It seems the romance between these two is not going to be smooth sailing. Jennie shared the plot for the music video in one short sentence. Set in the summer, she decides to take a break from her ongoing love story.
Jennie has released two teaser photos so far, featuring the ODD ATELIER artist with a man in two different locations. One features a field of grass with a blue truck, while the other features an ancient European building.
These two photos also have different vibes. The second photo feels more like a Ruby album, with its predominantly black color tone and red accents. Meanwhile, the first photo looks like a coming-of-age movie poster.
Less Than A Lover will be released on July 24, 2026. This will be Jennie's second release in 2026 after the hugely successful Dracula (Remix) with Tame Impala.
Dracula (Remix) remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last weekend, peaking at #5. Thanks to this song, Jennie became the second female K-Pop artist to reach the top five of the chart, following Rosé with APT. last year.
