Yoo Ah In is embarking on a new career in the South Korean entertainment industry. He has now joined the entertainment agency BILLIONS, home to a number of famous South Korean stars.
Yoo Ah In was previously under the United Artist Agency (UAA) alongside Song Hye Kyo and Ryu Jun Yeol. However, in early July, he followed in the footsteps of those two artists and left the agency. BILLIONS released an official statement welcoming Yoo Ah In to their roster.
The official contract was signed today, Friday (August 21, 2026). Management also touched on Yoo Ah In's controversial past, specifically his drug case. They explained that this was a consideration when recruiting Yoo Ah In to join the BILLIONS agency.
"BILLIONS is fully aware of the concerns surrounding Yoo Ah In following his past cases and his recent resumption of activities. Prior to agreeing to the contract, we had a series of in-depth discussions with Yoo Ah In over a considerable period of time," BILLIONS said in its official release.
"After carefully considering the responsibilities and attitudes required for him to continue his career as an actor, as well as his future direction, after going through this careful and thorough process, BILLIONS has decided to accompany Yoo Ah In on his new beginnings," the agency stated.
Management also explained the reason for recruiting Yoo Ah In as their star. It's not just about his acting skills, but also the sincerity displayed by the #ALIVE (2020) actor in starting a new beginning.
BILLIONS stated that they each share the same vision and mission. They see this collaboration as a sign of mutual trust, without forgetting the past events that seriously impacted Yoo Ah In and his public image.
"We will not take his past lightly or try to forget it too quickly. We understand that deep reflection on the past and a sincere attitude are essential to restoring trust. BILLIONS will be a responsible partner as Yoo Ah In honestly strives to retrace his steps."

In addition to reflecting on his past mistakes, we will work carefully and diligently to ensure that his sincere commitment to acting is conveyed through his actions and future works," the agency concluded.
Yoo Ah In now lives with actors Lee Jun Young, Jo Bo Ah, Apink's Jeong Eun Ji, and Jung Sung Il. He is currently working on the film Vampire, directed by Jang Jae Hyun, Exhuma (2024).
