Infinix just announced its first 5G smartphone—the Infinix Zero 5G. The new device from Infinix boasts of flagship-like specifications, with a 6.78-inch IPS LTPS display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core processor which is coupled with 8GB of RAM. It features a triple-camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

When it comes to the design, the Infinix Zero 5G looks similar to that of OPPO’s Find X3 Pro. The smartphone has the Infinix branding and a triple-camera setup at the back. The device features a fingerprint sensor which is located beneath the power button on the right-hand side. The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch IPS LTPS display that has Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. 

Under the hood, the Infinix Zero 5G is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 900 processor. The device packs 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone also has a microSD slot for further storage expansion. On the backside, the device flaunts a triple-camera setup. The camera module includes a 48MP main camera, 13MP telephoto camera with a 2x zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

On the front software, the Infinix Zero 5G runs Android 11 out of the box with HiOS 10 on top. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that has 33W fast charging support. For Connectivity, the device has features such as a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth, GPS, OTG support, and a 3.5mm audio jack. 

Infinix has not announced the pricing and availability of the Infinix Zero 5G. However, past leaks suggest that the Infinix Zero 5G will be priced below ₹20,000 in India. The smartphone will sell in Cosmic Black, Horizon Blue, and Skylight Orange colour options. The Infinix Zero 5G India launch will take place on February 14.
