Chinese tech company, Realme is set to launch its 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ smartphones in India on February 16. In the latest development, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the camera details of the top-end 9 Pro+ model. The device will feature premium SONY IMX sensors on both the rear and front. Previously, a Realme employee shared live images of a 9 Pro+ variant with a color-changing design.

The Realme 9 Pro series has been garnering a lot of attention prior to its launch due to the premium features on offer. The attractive price point at which the smartphones will be available is bound to make them even more enticing to buyers. With top-tier camera sensors and chipset, the 9 Pro+ is expected to strengthen the company's position in the mid-range segment device.

The Realme 9 Pro+ will bear a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone will feature a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a noticeable bottom bezel, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport a rectangular camera bump.

The official pricing and availability details of the Realme 9 Pro+ will be announced at the time of its launch on February 16. However, as per previous leaks, the handset may start at around Rs. 21,000. The smartphone will have a Sunrise Blue color option that features the Light Shift Design.

In terms of optics, the Realme 9 Pro+ will flaunt a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP (f/1.88) Sony IMX766 primary shooter with OIS support, an 8MP (f/2.25) Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field of view, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.  On the front, it will sport a 16MP (f/2.45) Sony IMX471 selfie snapper with EIS support. The smartphone will house a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the Realme 9 Pro+ will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.At the heart, it will boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 OS out of the box. For connectivity, the smartphone will offer support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 5G, GPS, NFC, and a Type-C port.
