Motorola is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone, called the Edge 30 Pro, globally on February 24. In the latest development, new renders of the device showcasing a stylus and folio case have surfaced online courtesy of tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks). The handset is said to be a rebranded version of the Edge X30 that was launched in China last year 2021.

Leaks about the Motorola Edge 30 Pro have been rife in the past but the present one stands out because, for the first time, we know the smartphone may have a stylus. It also shows a folio case. The stylus will reportedly support air gestures and wireless connectivity. The new renders contradict previous rumors that only the Edge 30 Ultra will have a stylus.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro will offer a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 576Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support. The smartphone will sport a punch-hole cut-out on the top-center, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport an oval camera bump.

Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will draw juice from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. At the heart, it will boot Android 12-based MyUI OS out of the box. For connectivity, the smartphone will offer support for 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro shall be equipped with a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP main snapper, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it may sport a 60MP selfie shooter. The smartphone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast-charging support.

The official pricing and availability details of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will be announced by the company at the time of its launch on February 24. For reference, in China, the Motorola Edge X30 starts at CNY 3,199 (around Rs. 37,900). The smartphone will also have a stylus and a folio case.
