Realme is reportedly working on a new GT series smartphone, called the GT Neo 3. Now Zollege, in collaboration with reliable tipster @Onleaks, has revealed that the handset will be launched by July 31, 2022, and retail at a starting price of Rs. 25,543. The report has also revealed several key specifications and the rear design of the GT Neo 3.
It looks like Realme is working on making its next-generation GT Neo series an attractive offering. To recall, a couple of weeks ago, the GT Neo 3 Gaming Edition was leaked and now, the standard GT Neo 3 has surfaced online. Rumors suggest that the vanilla GT Neo 3 will flaunt an upgraded processor, an OIS-enabled main camera, and fast-charging support.
The Realme GT Neo 3 may bear a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will likely have a punch-hole design with rounded corners, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication. On the rear, the handset will have a triple camera unit.
Under the hood, the Realme GT Neo 3 is tipped to be fueled by a Snapdragon 888 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. For connectivity, it should offer support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 5G, GPS, and a Type-C port.
In terms of optics, the Realme GT Neo 3 should have a triple rear camera module, comprising a 50MP main sensor with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies and video calls, it may sport a 16MP front-facing camera. On the front software, it will boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 OS out of the box.
The official pricing and availability details of the Realme GT Neo 3 will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch. The smartphone will come in at least a Black color option. However, based on the latest leak, the handset will start around Rs. 25,500 in India.
