Chinese tech company, Vivo is getting ready to its expand its V23 line-up of handsets in India with a new V23e 5G model. It will be announced here on February 21. According to Mahesh Telecom, the smartphone will be priced at Rs. 25,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant. The Vivo V23e 5G is already available in markets like Malaysia and Thailand.
The Vivo V23e 5G will join the V23 5G and V23 Pro handsets that were launched in India in January 2022. The device will be positioned as the entry-level model in the V23 series to take on rivals from brands like Motorola, Xiaomi, and Samsung in the mid-range segment. It offers a AMOLED screen, 44MP selfie snapper, 5G connectivity, and 44W fast-charging support.
Vivo V23e 5G bears a 6.44-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone features a waterdrop notch design with slim bezels and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The rear panel is fitted with a triple camera module.
Under the hood, the Vivo V23e 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Software-wise, it boots Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. For connectivity options, the smartphone offers support for Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a Type-C port.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo V23e 5G flaunts a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. The handset has a 44MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone is packs a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support.
The official pricing and availability details of the Vivo V23e 5G will be announced at the time of its launch in India on February 21. However, based on the tip-off, the smartphone will be priced at Rs. 25,990. The device is expected to be offered in Gradient Blue, Midnight Blue, and Sunshine Gold colors.
