Realme is gearing up to announce a new handset in its Realme 9 series of smartphones. According to MySmartPrice, the Chinese tech company will soon introduce a 4G variant of the Realme 9 in the country at a price point of under Rs. 15,000. As for key highlights, the phone  is expected to have a 108MP primary camera, a Helio G96 chipset, and 33W fast-charging support.

Realme recently introduced a range of 5G devices in the Realme 9 line-up. However, after the launch of the Realme 9 5G series, the brand now seems to be working on a 4G version of the Realme 9. The new phone has already been spotted on Realme India's official website, which suggests its imminent launch in the country.

The Realme 9 4G is tipped to sport a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) LCD panel with a refresh rate of either 120Hz or 144Hz. The smartphone will have a punch-hole cut-out on the top-left corner, slim bezels, and a plastic body. On the rear, it will feature a triple camera setup accompanied by an LED flash.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme 9 4G could come with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 108MP primary lens and two other supporting cameras. Up front, it will have a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, it will have a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

In terms of processor, the Realme 9 4G will reportedly be powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. At the heart, it will run on Android 11 OS out of the box and is expected to arrive in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB configurations. Connectivity options should include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, VoLTE, and a Type-C port.

For official pricing and availability, the Realme 9 4G is likely to be announced by the Chinese tech company in the coming weeks. It should be priced under Rs. 15,000. The smartphone will be available in three color options, including Sunburst Gold, Meteor Black, and Stargaze White.
