Vivo's sub-brand iQOO is gearing up to launch a new Neo series smartphone, called the Neo 6, in China. In the latest development, the company has confirmed the handset will be introduced there on April 13. The brand has also released a teaser showcasing the device's design for the first time. We can expect it to make its India debut soon after it goes official in China.

Two days after the launch of Vivo's flagship X80 series handset, its sub-brand iQOO would introduce the Neo 6, a "flagship killer," on April 13. The Neo 6 is perfect for those looking for high-end features at a mid-range price. Add to that the stunning rear design that will put even some flagships to shame. It succeeds the fan-favorite Neo 5 that debuted last year 2021.

The iQOO Neo 6 will bear a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will feature a punch-hole display, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will have a vegan leather finish. It should also come with a glass back.

In term of optics, the iQOO Neo 6 will be equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, comprising a 50MP primary shooter, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP portrait camera. Up front, it will sport a single selfie snapper. The smartphone will pack a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 6 will be fueled by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. At the heart, it will run on Android 12-based OriginOS Ocean. The smartphone should offer support for 5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a Type-C port.

The official pricing and availability details of the iQOO Neo 6 will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch. However, we expect it to start at around Rs. 30,000 (approximately $394.76 United States Dollar). The smartphone will be offered in Orange, Black, and Blue color options.
