Reporting from Soompi 's report on Wednesday August 24, 2022, TXT 's latest mini album titled minisode 2: Thursday's Child continues to achieve impressive achievements on the United States Billboard chart. Recently, Billboard revealed that TXT's mini album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" has managed to stay for 14 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 chart , extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album on Billboard 2022 in 2022.

For the week ending August 27, 2022, the mini album remained at No. 179 on the Billboard 200 chart. Not only have TXT become the first K-pop artist to manage to stay 14 weeks on the Billboard 200 with a new album released this year, but they have also surpassed BLACKPINK 's record to become the K-pop artist with the second cumulative week on Billboard.

Cumulatively, TXT have spent a total of 32 weeks on the Billboard 200 with all of their albums, only surpassed by BTS (over 40 weeks). In addition, even though it has been more than three months since its release, "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" is also still a mini album that has remained strong on several other Billboard charts.

This mini album rises back to No. 5 on Billboard's World Albums chart this week, as well as sweeping the No. 9 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart and Billboard's Recent Album Sales chart. Not only that, TXT has also climbed back up to No. 55 on the Billboard Artist 100 this week, marking their 33rd week overall on the chart. TXT will release the single "Ring" on August 24, 2022, followed by their 3rd Japanese album "Good Boy Gone Bad."

"Ring" means "how to love someone other than you?" in the Japanese title, and is a pop rock song using intense guitar rhythm with the charming melody and beautiful harmony of the 5 members of TXT. In particular, the song "Ring" is the first Japanese single composed by TXT members Yeonjun, Taehyun, and also Hueningkai. Congratulations to TXT on their impressive milestone on Billboard, and we'll see what other records they'll break with their new releases!
