BLACKPINK's Lisa has set a new record as a solo musician. In fact, he managed to beat the world record for musicians. The record was successfully made by Lisa through her solo song, LALISA. One year after its release, LALISA managed to dominate the iTunes chart in Kyrgyzstan.
Through this achievement, Lisa became the first female musician with a song to top the iTunes Top Songs chart in 103 states. Previously, the record was held by Adele. Currently, Adele is the second female musician with a song to top the iTunes Top Songs chart in 102 countries.
Adele achieved this record through two songs, Hello and Easy on Me. Meanwhile, Lisa is currently busy with a world tour with BLACKPINK. Titled BORN PINK: World Tour, Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa opened a tour in Seoul on October 15 and 16, 2022 before traveling to the United States and Canada to hold 10 shows in 7 different states.
After that, BLACKPINK will fly to Europe and hold concerts there from November to December 2022. Finished with Europe, they will hold concerts in Asia, including visiting and greeting fans in Indonesia in 2023. BLACKPINK was supposed to hold a concert for 2 days in Jakarta. The concerts are scheduled to take place on March 11 and 12, 2023.
Even so, the fate of the BLACKPINK concert in Jakarta is currently being questioned. This is because GBK, which was supposed to be the venue for the concert, will be used as the venue for the 2023 U-20 World Cup. Regarding this matter, IME Indonesia, as a promoter, has yet to speak up. The website has tried to contact the promoter but still no answer.
