Three years after debut, BVNDIT finally officially disbanded. On Friday November 12, 2022, Soompi reported that BVNDIT's agency MNH Entertainment released an official statement revealing that the contracts of BVNDIT members Yiyeon (leader), Songhee, Jungwoo, Simyeong, and Seungeun had expired last October.

First, we sincerely thank the fans who have appreciated and continue to support our artist, BVNDIT. After in-depth discussions with BVNDIT members, we decided to terminate BVNDIT's exclusive contract at the end of October.
The members of BVNDIT have decided to support each other's new beginnings, and we fully support their future as well. Once again, we thank you for the great support you have sent so far and we sincerely apologize for delivering sudden news to fans who have cherished BVNDIT. In the future too, we ask for a lot of encouragement and support for the members of BVNDIT for their new start. Thank you."
BVNDIT first debuted on April 10, 2019 with the release of a single album titled "BVNDIT, Be Ambitious!" The title track of the album is “Hocus Pocus.” Then on May 15, 2019, BVNDIT released their second digital single entitled "Dramatic". After that they released their first mini album "Be!" on November 5, 2022. with the title track "Dumb."
The group subsequently released the digital single "Cool" on February 6, 2020, as part of MNH Entertainment's new music project, New.wav, and on May 13, 202, the group released their second mini album, "Carnival." BVNDIT just celebrated their third anniversary last April and the following month, on May 25, 2022 BVNDIT made their first comeback in almost two years with the release of their third mini album, “Re-Original.”
"Re-Original" consists of five songs that show BVNDIT's unique identity. The five songs are: "Re-Original", "VENOM", "JIGGY", "AWAKEN" and "Don't mess with me". Fans think that after the comeback with "Re-Original" BVNDIT will still continue to work to enliven the K-pop industry. No one expected that it would be their last comeback.
