NCT Dream has confirmed to cancel The Dream Show concert which was held at Gocheok Sky Dome, South Korea from July 29 to 31, 2022. This news was confirmed by SM Entertainment's agency through a statement. "We announce that NCT Dream's solo concert, The Dream Show 2: In A Dream is scheduled to be canceled.

Although all NCT Dream members and staff worked hard to prepare for the concert according to fans' wishes, we regret this decision," SM Entertainment said in a statement on Wednesday, July 27. "With the current situation, we can't give the best concert so we ask for fans' understanding," he said.

As a result, tickets that have been sold out will be refunded in the near future. The concert cancellation comes after two NCT Dream members tested for COVID-19. Initially, Mark tested positive for COVID-19 and the agency decided to continue the concert with six members. But that decision changed after Renjun also got COVID-19 on Wednesday, July 27.

"Renjun tested positive for COVID-19 today (July 27). Renjun felt symptoms and underwent a PCR test. He tested positive for COVID-19," the agency said in a statement. The agency also made the health of the NCT Dream members a top priority so they hope that this decision can be accepted by fans.

"Our agency continues to follow the rules of the medical side. We will further prioritize the health and safety of our artists, and do our best to help our artists recover." Until now, Renjun and Mark's names have been a topic of discussion. The group members also wrote messages to fans who were disappointed by the cancellation of the concert.
