Super Junior's Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun decided to leave SM Entertainment. This decision occurred after they chose not to renew their contract with the management that raised their name from 2005-2006. Currently, Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun are said to be looking for a new home.
Not only in the sense of new management, but also a new place to live (for Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun) also considering that all this time they were still living together in the Super Junior dorm in the Cheongdam area. There is news that says that Donghae and Eunhyuk will build their own management.
Later they will become co-founders for management who will manage all their individual activity schedules. Meanwhile, activities with Super Junior will still be managed by SM Entertainment. SM Entertainment on Friday July 14, 2023 just provided information about the activities of Donghae, Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun with Super Junior, which will be managed only under their management.
It is not yet certain whether the sub-unit Super Junior D&E will also be taken over by SM or handed over to the new management formed by Donghae and Eunhyuk later. Kyuhyun, on the other hand, has been eyed by Antenna Entertainment's management.
A media reported that the management had held discussions with the At Gwanghwamun singer to conclude an exclusive contract cooperation agreement. The talks went smoothly and were welcomed positively by both parties. However, until now no decision has been made from these discussions.
Meanwhile other Super Junior members such as Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Siwon, and Ryeowook decided to stay at SM and continue their contract with management. Therefore, the individual activities of the six Super Junior members will still be managed by SM Entertainment.
