Apple TV+ series 'Pachinko Season 2' has released a trailer featuring BLACKPINK's Rosé singing Coldplay's song 'Viva La Vida'. 'Pachinko', which warmly captures a large-scale narrative, is a work that depicts an unforgettable chronicle of war and peace, love and separation, victory and judgment that begins with a forbidden love story and a back and forth journey between Korea, Japan and the United States.

The newly released trailer for the second season is set in Osaka in 1945, and has caught viewers' attention with its depiction of Seonja (Kim Min Ha) and Hansu (Lee Min Ho)'s reunion, as well as the appearance of new actors including Kim Sung Kyu. 

The song 'Viva La Vida' reinterpreted by BLACKPINK's Rosé, used as music, is attracting attention. Rosé's 'Viva La Vida' was not only used in the trailer, but will also be used as the ending song for the final episode of 'Pachinko' Season 2, completing a finale that leaves a deep impression. 

Based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, 'Pachinko' tells the story of a Korean immigrant family depicted through the eyes of mother Seonja, who puts down roots in a foreign land in order to survive. Meanwhile, the latest season is set in Osaka in 1945 when World War II broke out, and tells the story of Seonja as she fights to protect her family, even making dangerous choices. 

The stories also intersect with those of Solomon (Jin Ha), who must start over in Tokyo in 1989, and the older Seonja (Youn Yuh Jung) who worries about her grandson. 'Pachinko 2', which has received rave reviews from critics and viewers worldwide, consists of a total of 8 episodes, and starting with the release of the first episode on August 23, one episode will be released per week via Apple TV+ until October 11, 2024.
