One of Marvel's proud stars has now officially joined a new project. Quoting from Deadline on Friday July 26, 2024, Chris Hemsworth will star and produce the film The Corsair Code. Apple Original Films is known to have acquired the license for the film.
This means that The Corsair Code will most likely be released in theaters first before hitting Apple TV+ a few months later. The Corsair Code is described as an action-packed sci-fi mystery adventure film . Plot details are still under wraps.
Chris Hemsworth has been confirmed to star in the film, while casting for the rest of the cast is still underway. The Corsair Code is written by Jonathan Tropper, whose previous credits include the HBO original series Warrior, several episodes of the Apple TV+ series See, and the sci-fi film The Adam Project starring Ryan Reynolds and directed by Shawn Levy.
With experience writing for big stars, The Corsair Code will be an opportunity for Jonathan Tropper to once again show his skills as a capable screenwriter.
