Ahead of its premiere, KBS2's latest Korean drama titled ' Iron Family ' has shared leaks about the character played by actress Yang Hye Ji. Carrying the dark comedy genre, 'Iron Family' tells the story of a family that has run the Cheongryeom Laundry laundry business for three generations.
'Iron Family' is the work of Sung Joon Hae, the director behind the successful dramas 'Home for Summer', 'No Matter What', and 'Bravo, My Life', while the script was written by Seo Sook Hyang, who previously wrote 'Miss Korea', 'Don't Dare to Dream', 'Pasta', and 'Wok of Love'. In this drama, Yang Hye Ji plays Lee Cha Rim, the second daughter of the Cheongryeom Laundry family.
She is a beautiful woman who is famous in the Cheongryeom neighborhood. Working as a designer at Jiseung Group, Lee Cha Rim is known for her incredible talent and dedication to her work. In the drama, it is told that Lee Cha Rim has made a great sacrifice for her younger sister, Lee Da Rim (played by Geum Sae Rok), who has a rare disease that causes her to lose her sight.
However, tensions arise when financial issues related to Lee Da Rim's eye surgery cause conflict between them. This dispute will increase the audience's curiosity about the hidden story behind the brothers' struggles and Lee Cha Rim's fate in receiving less love in the family.
In addition, viewers can also look forward to Lee Cha Rim's interactions with her boss, Seo Kang Joo (played by Kim Jung Hyun) and a romantic storyline with Cha Tae Woong (played by Choi Tae Joon), a part-time worker at Cheongryeom Laundry.
