TWICE Jihyo's Response to Boyfriend Cheating Becomes a Topic

TWICE's Jihyo appeared on Park Na Rae's YouTube channel on December 4, 2024. On that occasion, the TWICE member and Na Rae appeared to be camping. They talked about various things including about cheating boyfriends.

Na Rae initially brought up Jihyo opening a YouTube channel where the idol works part-time at a guesthouse. "I heard that guesthouses are like jungles now," Na Rae said. Jihyo said that many couples meet at guesthouses.

"The guesthouse owner always tells me how many married couples met here, how many couples met here and so on," Jihyo continued. Na Rae was initially shocked and said, "Oh, no wonder! When you're in a relationship and your partner wants to go to a guesthouse."

Na Rae refers to the possibility of cheating if her boyfriend wants to come to the guesthouse. However, Jihyo responds that if her boyfriend is cheating, then just break up. "But those who are going to cheat will still cheat. You just leave him alone when that happens," said Jihyo.

Na Rae then asked, "Then for you, if a guy messes up in that regard, would you turn around and never look back?" Jihyo quickly replied, "That would be so unattractive, wouldn't it?" Jihyo confirmed that she wouldn't give a second chance.

"You might want to give him a second chance and all that," Na Rae said. "No. Because I don't think it's going to end there. If he's going to cheat, he's going to cheat. So, I'd rather he cheated earlier, before I like him more, and break up earlier."

Na Rae felt that Jihyo's response was quite cool. The idol then revealed, "Of course I'll be hurt, but what can I do? Life is a lonely journey". Jihyo's words made Na Rae express her admiration for the TWICE leader.

Jihyo's response to her boyfriend cheating has become a topic of conversation among South Korean netizens. " Ahh I really like how she talks about things like this. I have to watch this [sic!] ," wrote one netizen. " Impressive [sic!] ," added another.

" I like Jihyo. She is so humble and charming [sic!] ," said another netizen. " She is so admirable and impressive... I always get strength from listening to TWICE and I hope TWICE is always happy, strong, and enjoying themselves [sic!] ," added another.
