The sexual harassment case committed by former NCT Kpop member Taeil is still ongoing. On Tuesday March 4, 2025, it was revealed that an arrest warrant for Taeil, former NCT member, had been filed, but was rejected by the court.

The sexual harassment committed by Taeil, former NCT member, was revealed through SM Entertainment's statement on August 28, 2024. The agency took firm action by removing Taeil from the group. A day later, the police reported that Taeil, former NCT member, underwent an examination on June 13, 2024.

The victim of his sexual harassment was a drunk foreign woman. He committed the act with two friends who were non-celebrities. Not a few fans of Taeil, former NCT member, expressed their anger towards SM Entertainment because the case was only revealed a month after the investigation.

Former NCT member Taeil will still participate in promotions for NCT 127's sixth album 'WALK' in July 2024. He will also appear on stage at the fan meeting celebrating their 8th debut anniversary in early August 2024. Not only that, Taeil ex-NCT celebrated his birthday on June 14, 2024, a day after being questioned by the police.

Unbeknownst to fans, Taeil ex-NCT was involved in legal problems. Police have filed charges of aggravated rape, which applies when a weapon is used or when two or more people sexually assault the victim while she is unconscious and unable to resist. However, it was confirmed that no weapons were involved in Taeil and his partner's crime.

After receiving the victim's report in June 2024, the Bangbae Police Station filed an arrest warrant for three suspects including Taeil from NCT. The court rejected the request on the grounds that the perpetrators had already admitted to their crimes and there was no need to detain them.

Taeil, formerly of NCT, was also summoned again to undergo police questioning in August 2024, before the case was forwarded to court in September 2024. On that occasion, the suspects denied that they had planned their crime. Unlike his two accomplices, Taeil, formerly of NCT, did not respond to the police summons.

The 30-year-old was absent due to health reasons and submitted a doctor's certificate and legal opinion from his lawyer. The latest status of Taeil, former NCT member, and two of his colleagues have now been officially named as suspects in a sexual harassment case. The three have been charged without detention.
